Children's Yoga is a fun, creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children ages 5-10 years. The practice of poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach children how to focus, relax, and develop self-control.
Children will improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help to release energy in a fun, safe environment. Children's Yoga also promotes inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem.
Children's Yoga is taught by Kellie Adkins, MS, ERYT, RPYT, RCYTKellie is registered with the National Yoga Alliance
as an Experienced Registered Yoga teacher at the 500-hour level, a
registered Prenatal Yoga teacher, and a registered Children's Yoga
teacher. Kellie is also a member of the International Association of
Yoga Therapists and is a Manduka Ambassador.
