Hey Orlando Yoga Community, Bryan Kest is back and he's teaching a full day of yoga - Power Yoga & Long Slow Deep on Saturday, November 18th, 2023!
This is our 12th year hosting Bryan Kest's Power Yoga & Long, Slow, Deep Master Classes in Central Florida. These Master Classes are legendary among Central Florida yogis. See the descriptions below. Please register early to reserve your space.
Bryan Kest's Power Yoga Master Class (11a-1:30p)
This is a well-rounded, flowing asana practice integrating spiritual practice that enhances everyday living. The class is designed to invigorate the body and develop a calm, less reactive state of mind while practicing dynamic, flowing sequences. In Bryan's Power Yoga Master Class students are encouraged to focus on the spiritual process and not the end result. This allows ALL levels of yoga practitioners to enjoy and benefit from the experience.
Long, Slow, Deep Workshop (3:30p-6p)
Bryan had a couple of objectives when he created Long, Slow, Deep. First of all, Bryan wanted to give students a deep and challenging alternative to the myriad of Vinyasa and flowing yoga classes. He wanted students to have a choice of yoga practices that may not involve Sun Salutations or the Standing Series. Bryan wanted to offer students a practice that is utterly potent without focusing on strength, endurance, or even building much heat. Secondly, Bryan wanted students to experience the benefits of holding poses a little longer, giving massive areas such as hamstrings, groin, hips, shoulders, etc., more time to release and go deeper into poses. This is truly an amazing routine!! It is by FAR the most difficult class Bryan teaches, yet we rarely leave the floor. The challenge of Long, Slow, Deep is mostly primarily mental but hang in there, be patient, and keep breathing deeply and fluidly. This class is suited for students of all levels.

Daytime Gentle Flow with Renee is back!! This NON-HEATED class is designed to bring awareness into the mind and body by focusing on breath and alignment. One translation of the Sanskrit word Hatha means sun-moon, so through this practice, you will learn to find balance – not just standing on one leg, but discovering that sense of equilibrium in the body and mind, the balance between effort and surrender in each posture. This class is a great place to build foundations for your practice.
